By joining the Greenovate! Europe network, we are opening a new chapter in our sustainability journey

ISINNOVA has taken another significant step forward in its journey towards sustainability by joining the Greenovate! Europe network. This innovative and dynamic organisation offers continuous support for sustainable innovation through collaboration with leading global organisations in research, innovation, and sustainability.

During the Greenovate! Europe General Assembly, held in Brussels on 19-20 June, our President Mario Gualdi presented ISINNOVA and our latest projects. We were also pleased to welcome Innomine, a Hungarian start-up working on innovation and digital transformation projects, into the network.

Global Impact Projects Presented at the General Assembly

The Greenovate! Europe General Assembly was a marathon of workshops and presentations. Key projects include Mantra, which aims to accelerate the green and digital transformation of the EU’s SME manufacturing industry through new technologies and social innovation, and Precious, which addresses the environmental impact of food loss, waste prevention, and its consequences.

Greenovate! Europe members span the research and innovation sectors, from research centres to industry clusters, innovation consultants, and communication and engagement agencies. The network is involved in numerous activities, including:

  1. Encouraging Innovation
Greenovate! Europe helps bring new technologies, processes, applications, and materials to the market through innovation support services. They offer a holistic approach, providing services such as risk assessment and investor acquisition through a network of experts across Europe.
  2. Communication and Dissemination
Sharing the results of scientific research and projects is a frontier of modern communication. Greenovate! Europe develops communication and dissemination strategies, offering training programmes on creating scientific communication plans that reach the general public, understanding complex scientific messages, and producing effective communication materials.
  3. Advice on Policies and Procedures
Members of Greenovate! Europe develop strategies and policy tools based on extensive experience in policy design. To foster an environment where innovation can flourish, network members regularly derive policy recommendations from research projects and present them to relevant European institutions.
  4. Stakeholder Engagement Activities
Stakeholder engagement measures the effectiveness of research activities. It is a cornerstone of research projects, helping to disseminate results and align the expectations of policymakers with those of end-users. Greenovate! Europe implements engagement processes through social innovation and co-creation.
  5. Transition to a Green Economy
Greenovate! Europe shares ISINNOVA’s vision for a sustainable, low-impact economy, characterised by sustainable urban transport solutions, low environmental emissions, and the creation of more efficient, less polluted, and better-connected cities.
  6. Improving Environmental Sustainability
Sustainable management of Europe’s natural resources is crucial to achieving the 2050 climate change targets and protecting ecosystems and biodiversity. This goal requires a circular economy and a balanced approach between business, environment, and civil society. Members of Greenovate! Europe, including ISINNOVA, prioritise the protection of Europe’s environment and soil through research and innovation projects aimed at preserving and revitalising entire areas of European soil.
