ISINNOVA continues to contribute to the debate on the role of foresight in decision-making processes with the article “Foresight and scenarios to make more sustainable and effective decisions”, written by Andrea Ricci and Luca Miggiano and published on illuminem.
The article reflects on how scenarios and strategic foresight approaches can help institutions, organisations and decision-makers navigate increasingly complex and interconnected transformations, by considering not a single expected future, but a plurality of possible developments.
The article also presents the first brief in a new series dedicated to exploring future developments in strategic areas for society. The first brief focuses on health and healthcare systems, examined in light of the demographic, technological, environmental and social changes that may shape their evolution.
The publication is part of the activities of Ecosistema Futuro, the partnership promoted by ASviS – Alleanza Italiana per lo Sviluppo Sostenibile to strengthen long-term thinking and bring the analysis of possible futures into public debate and decision-making processes.
