After almost three intense years, DIGNITY is getting ready to say goodbye. We chose to do so in Brussels, on December 7th, 2022<\/strong>, in a joint final conference<\/strong> with INDIMO<\/strong><\/a> and TRIPS<\/a><\/strong>, our Horizon-funded ‘sister’ projects and fellow partners in this shared journey towards inclusive digital mobility<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Next stop: Inclusive digital mobility<\/em> is the chance to showcase tools and recommendations coming from three of the most inclusive EU-funded (digital) mobility projects<\/strong>!
\nDIGNITY, INDIMO and TRIPS represent the most recent research aimed at making the transport system more equitable and inclusive by focusing on the users’ perspective<\/strong>. Attention to ciitizens vulnerable to exclusion is at the heart of all three projects.
\nDIGNITY and INDIMO both consider diverse vulnerable groups<\/strong>, such as older people, ethnic minorities and the economically vulnerable, while TRIPS addresses, within the same scope, the specific needs and barriers encountered by travellers with disabilities .<\/p>\n

3 projects. One shared journey. All On Board!<\/h2>\n

Each project will propose its own tools and recommendations, developed for further exploitation, in an interactive on-site event<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

TRIPS will demonstrate how mobility solutions co-designed by persons with disabilities can provide inclusive transport for all.
\nINDIMO will present its toolbox and strategies for vulnerable to exclusion groups to thrive in the transition to digital mobility, while DIGNITY will showcase the results of the Inclusive Design Wheel<\/strong><\/a> to overcome possible mobility barriers for vulnerable to exclusion groups.
\nCodesign<\/strong> of digital mobility solutions and cocreation<\/strong> of inclusive policies are shared tracks for these \u2018sister\u2019 projects in their inclusive journey towards improving the accessibility of the transport system.<\/p>\n
