The BIOSURF final booklet is online and available for download. The 56-page booklet gives an overview of the project and of the progress made in creating a European biomethane market, in safeguarding raw material supply, and in calculating greenhouse gas emissions. But it also offers an in-depth look at the biomethane markets of the six countries involved in the project – Austria, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy and the UK – and shows how the project helped support the growth of the biomethane markets in each of these countries.
The final booklet is available for download in five languages: English, French, German, Hungarian and Italian. To download it, go to the Deliverables section of the website, click on “Dissemination, Exploitation and Communication”, and scroll down to the link for the final booklet.
BIOSURF was an EU-funded project under the Horizon 2020 programme for research, technological development and demonstration from January 2015 until December 2017. It responded to the call “Competitive Low-Carbon Energy (LCE) 14: Market uptake of existing and emerging sustainable Bioenergy” under the “Work Program 2014-2015 on Secure, Clean and Efficient Energy.”
