The kick-off meeting for the H2020 Park4SUMP project took place in Umea, Sweden on 17-19 September 2018. The project involves 16 municipalities, supported by a team of research institutes and universities that specialise in the field of transport policies, and specifically in Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans (SUMPs). The partner research institutes and universities are: M21 (BE), DIFU (D), FGM-AMOR (AT), NAPIER (UK), ISINNOVA (IT) and POLIS (BE). The municipalities are: Vitoria Gasteiz (ES), ROTTERDAM (NL), STADT FREIBURG (D), Reggio Emilia (IT), Trondheim (NO), SINT-NIKLAAS (BE), Slatina (RO), Sofia UMC (BG ), TALLINNA LINN (EE), CITY OF ZADAR (HR), Bashkia Shkoder (AL), LISBOA E-NOVA (PT), Gdansk (PL), LA ROCHELLE (F), Kracow (PL) and UMEA (SE).
The kick-off meeting took place with the participation of the project officer, Octavia Stepan, of the Innovation and Networks Executive Agency (INEA), who will manage the project on behalf of the European Commission. ISINNOVA presented its upcoming activities on conceptualisation and innovation, describing its objectives and work programme.
